The Medical Council of Mauritius (“MCM”) Privacy Policy explains how we use and safeguard any information you provide while browsing our website including electronic services and mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal information consistent with the existing legislation in IT.

Throughout this document, ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’ and ‘ours’ refer to the Medical Council of Mauritius.

- Name, ID card number, academic certificates and phone number.
- Contact details such as postal address and email address.
- Other information relevant to our function as regulatory body for the medical profession.
- What we do with the information we gather
We require the gathered information so as to update and safeguard a proper record of the information in line with our function at the Medical Council as the Regulatory body.
- How information is collected
The MCM collects personal information of every Medical Practitioner consistent with the Medical Council Act.
- Who do we share your information with/ Third parties
When providing our services to you, we may share your information with International Regulatory Bodies and Court of Law or Government Authorities.
Third-parties are required to: –
Host the Mobile Application
To perform Service-related services; or
To assist in analyzing how the APP is used.
- Security
All personal information will be safeguarded and protected in accordance with the prevailing laws of Mauritius including but not limited to the Data Protection Act 2017.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Users are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
